OPTOmap® Retinal Evaluations

The back of the eye is called the retina. A healthy retina is critical for good vision. A thorough examination of the back of the eye is critical to evaluate overall eye health. The OPTOmap® Retinal Exam is the only technology that provides doctors with a wide-field view of the back of the eye.

OPTOmap® Retinal Evaluation

This painless exam requires NO dilation in most cases. Within minutes, this exam can detect macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal tears, diabetes, high blood pressure, and other retinal problems.

Our doctors highly recommend this exam as an integral part of your annual, comprehensive eye exam. Your doctor will evaluate and review your images with you during your exam. The results allow your doctor to make better-informed decisions about your eye health. Regular and comprehensive eye exams can lead to early detection of common diseases, such as glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration.
